The Dispatch of Atomic Bombing Storytellers
Atomic Bombing Storytellers go to schools and communities to tell the stories they have inherited from the atomic bombing survivors.
These storytellers have heard from a family member or an atomic bombing survivor they have been in close contact with about that person’s bombing experiences and life before and after the war. They have then undergone an evaluation process to become certified testimonial speakers. They employ visual aids such as photographs, video and illustrations to present the story of the survivor’s experience.
