Youth Peace Volunteers
Youth Peace Volunteers study about the realities of the atomic bombing and the history of the war. They think about peace issues from a number of perspectives and become active as volunteers. This program provides frequent opportunities for interaction between young people of the same generation (both from Nagasaki and other prefectures) who go to different schools or work at different jobs. Excepting those who are still in junior high school, anyone over the age of fifteen and under thirty may take part. Applications are accepted throughout the year, so please contact our office at your convenience if you have any inquiries.
